Rachel Gingold has a diverse background in engineering, project management, fine art, and decorative painting. Since receiving a degree in Optical Engineering with a minor in Studio Art from the University of Rochester, she has worked as an optical designer, project leader, and manager in the aerospace, consumer products, and biotech industries. After 15 years of managing technology projects for such companies as Lockheed, Agfa, |
SOLA Optical, and Applied Biosystems, she switched directions in 2002 and started her own business, Moonline Arts, which specializes in murals and decorative painting. To stay active in technology and business (while her hand is holding a paintbrush), Rachel has created and managed websites, and has designed and written brochures and marketing materials for her company and other organizations.
Rachel is providing marketing and project support to the EMSS team, to ensure that their publications are available to the widest possible audience.
